Lastest Modifications Tower/Trolley

Latest modifications of the antenna trolley

Good morning everyone, I'm here with the latest modifications this fall to improve and make it easier to lower the antenna trolley onto my 24-meter tower, since at my age, climbing up the tower isn't a good idea.
I had the idea of mechanizing everything, although I'd already been raising and lowering the antenna trolley for many years.
The real innovation in the modifications I've made is the construction of a new control panel, implementing a multi-channel radio frequency remote control (the kind used on construction cranes), thus facilitating all movements, first of all raising and lowering the antenna trolley, then a system I developed to lock the trolley once it was in the raised position (originally, you had to climb up and lock the trolley to the tower with 4 bolts).
Now, with the modifications made, I no longer have to climb up to do it, in practice, on the upper part of the trolley I had to put two bolts, and another two bolts at the base of the trolley that block it directly to the tower, I solved the problem in the upper part with two long fixed bolts made with a point so that they go to insert into a plate fixed to the tower that has two holes (where before I put two bolts), in the lower part of the trolley instead I put two micro electric pistons activated from the ground with the radio frequency command, and they go through two round steel bars that come out to block the lower part of the trolley on the tower via two fixed brackets on the tower, after various tests the system works well, the photos in the slideshow give a good idea much better than my translation into English hi hi, that's all thanks for reading me many greetings to all of you.
